Director's Statement
This documentary film represents humanity, love, friendship and culture in the practice of martial arts and Tai Chi that has been quiet silenced, or not deeply looked by our society. The film shares the true stories from the perspective of whose who live with and dedicated to martial arts and Tai Chi practice more than four decades in lower east side New York City, where I live and inspired by this special club, in which the east and west culture merged, exchanged perfectly, I, of course, proudly be a part of the stories.
These life stories will help empower people become stronger to overcome difficulties and isolations, and the film's influential and historical value to future generations is a unique gift.
It’s a very special documentary that I'm directing and making with my heart and dream. I’ll be soon watching the film with millions of martial artists and Tai chi practitioners around the world as well as all curious minded humans.
